High Carbon Steel Plates Nalin Girish Ispat LLP Across Pan India.
The High
Carbon Steel Plates is having carbon ranging from
0.40% to 1.00% with the manganese ranging from 0.30% to
0.90%. The pearlite is having a fine structure that is
making the steel harder. Unfortunately, this is making the
steel brittle and less ductile than mild steel. High
carbon and medium steel are used widely in
many applications. The increasing carbon as the main alloy
for steel hardness and high strength is the economical
approach for well-improved performances. Some of the effects
of the elevated carbon level are including reduced
weldability, impact toughness, and
ductility.
High carbon steel is one
of the most important construction metals in the world. High
carbon steel will be any type of steel that contains over
0.40% carbon but less than 2.11% carbon in its composition.
The average level of carbon found in this metal usually
falls right around the 1.5% mark. High Carbon Steel Plates
has a reputation for being especially hard, but the extra
carbon also makes it more brittle than other types of steel.
